Yesh sounds cheap -IS CHEAP! Way too many bubbles that don't come out. Yes, I have used screen savers before.

|Clear, with a chance of bubbles,
The clear screen protector for the Dell Streak 7 does what it says it will do. It fits the screen of the Streak 7 just about perfectly, and it keeps the screen from getting scratched or covered in fingerprints. It's about the right weight and thickness too – thin, but not flimsy.
Perhaps the only downfall is getting it on to the device. It's nearly impossible to attach the cover to the screen without at least some bubbles forming. Even when using the provided cardboard "squeegee," bubbles on the screen are almost inevitable. They don't do any harm and many will go away over time, as you use the device. But they're slightly annoying, and seemingly part of using this cover.
Overall I'm happy with the clarity and the protection if this cover – but if you use it, expect bubbles.
